The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pelayo clinches up against the cage.
Petrone changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pelayo fights it off and pushes away nicely.

Pelayo moves into the clinch.
Petrone goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pelayo prevents it.
Pelayo lands a body punch in the clinch.
Pelayo tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Pelayo pushes Petrone back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Pelayo stops a takedown attempt from Petrone.
Dino Pelayo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nicholas Petrone.
Petrone is working for takedown but Pelayo is calmly controlling the position for now.

Pelayo tightens his grip and picks Petrone up, before dumping him to the ground. Petrone manages to land in guard.

Petrone pushes a forearm under Pelayo's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pelayo is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
