Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Charles Cooper (ranked 5617 p4p, 561 weight class) and John Kyle Romo (ranked 7831 p4p, 677 weight class). Cooper kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is s.mouse - slap my elbow. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

I was talking to Cooper's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Romo creates a bit of space and fires a knee right up the middle, almost lifting Cooper off his feet and sending him crashing to the canvas! Cooper is trying to get back to his feet but his equilibrium is completely gone! The referee has called it off! This fight is over! Romo is jumping up and down like a mad man, celebrating with his cornermen.
