Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jrayden Tomlinson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryland Rasmussen!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rasmussen throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tomlinson's waist but Tomlinson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rasmussen off to one side.
Rasmussen has a takedown stuffed.
Tomlinson closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rasmussen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rasmussen looking for a guillotine here but Tomlinson defends easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rasmussen lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Tomlinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rasmussen on the ground.

Rasmussen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rasmussen sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tomlinson's guard.
Tomlinson is refusing to be controlled, as Rasmussen sits in half guard.
Tomlinson is looking for a sweep. Rasmussen is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Rasmussen is looking to take a break and control but Tomlinson is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rasmussen is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rasmussen is working for a submission of some sort.
Tomlinson looks like he's trying to stand up.
Rasmussen stands up from half guard.
Tomlinson lands with a kick to the temple. Rasmussen shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
No luck for Rasmussen with that takedown attempt.
Jrayden Tomlinson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryland Rasmussen.
Rasmussen throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ryland Rasmussen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rasmussen.

Rasmussen fails with the takedown
and Tomlinson counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Rasmussen is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Tomlinson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rasmussen sprawls well. Rasmussen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tomlinson gets slowly back to his feet.
A jab lands there for Rasmussen.
Tomlinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Rasmussen as he avoids it easily.
Tomlinson is breathing heavily.
Rasmussen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tomlinson tries to avoid it but Rasmussen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tomlinson to the ground. Tomlinson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Rasmussen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tomlinson defends it nicely.
Tomlinson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rasmussen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tomlinson wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rasmussen manages to pass to side control.
Rasmussen passes to full mount!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rasmussen has hold of Tomlinson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Tomlinson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Tomlinson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Rasmussen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Ryland Rasmussen will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

As Rasmussen looks to move away, Tomlinson throws a big counter combo but Rasmussen just gets out of the way.
Tomlinson gets caught flat footed, as Rasmussen shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Tomlinson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Rasmussen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Tomlinson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rasmussen is one step ahead there.

Rasmussen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Tomlinson is trying to escape and Rasmussen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Tomlinson is forced to tap! Nice work there by Rasmussen! Very nice indeed!
