Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayful Edmond (ranked 3010 p4p, 392 weight class) and Jeroen Franken (ranked 4716 p4p, 528 weight class). Rayful Edmond could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jeroen Franken's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rayful Edmond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jeroen Franken!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmond tries to clinch up but Franken circles away and keeps his distance.
Franken jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Edmond with a jab.
Franken connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Edmond seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Edmond scores with a nice head shot.
It looks like Jeroen Franken has been cut.
Franken throws a jab when Edmond was well out of range.
Edmond scores with a leg kick.
Franken ducks right into an uppercut from Edmond.
Rayful Edmond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Edmond changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Franken looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Franken slaps away a takedown attempt from Edmond, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Edmond fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Franken to the ground. Edmond is now in Franken's guard.

Edmond not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Franken is trying to control the position but Edmond postures up.
Franken keeping moving, preventing Edmond from controlling successfully.
Edmond is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Franken is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Edmond slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Franken throws a hook but Edmond avoids it easily.
It looked like Edmond wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Edmond throws a series of punches but Franken avoids them all with ease.
Edmond misses with a right hand
enabling Franken to counter with a crisp jab.

and Franken counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Franken listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Edmond throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Edmond tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Franken manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Franken shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Edmond fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Edmond, as that shot connected.
and Edmond counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Franken! He's just covering up as Edmond starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rayful Edmond!
