Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Igor Nunez (ranked 2865 p4p, 151 weight class) and Branimir Simeon (ranked 2465 p4p, 134 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Nunez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Branimir Simeon!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Skip Squint and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simeon lands with a good body shot.
Simeon fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nunez manages to avoid it.
Nunez tries to score a power double leg takedown but Simeon sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nunez somewhat.
Nunez shoots and misses
and Simeon counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Nunez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Simeon throws a body punch but Nunez moves out of range.
Simeon connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Simeon throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nunez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Nunez takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Nunez is breathing heavily.

Nunez is rocked!

Simeon feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Nunez sprawling to the canvas! Nunez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Simeon finish him?!
Oh Nunez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Simeon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nunez doesn't seem bothered though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nunez takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Nunez takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Nunez seems to have got his legs back now.

Simeon has managed to clinch.
Simeon lands with a short shot to the head.
Simeon looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Nunez drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Simeon gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Simeon cracks Nunez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Nunez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Simeon finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nunez walks straight into a right hand from Simeon - that's dropped him! Simeon jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Nunez from any more punishment! Nunez complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

A relieved looking Branimir Simeon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
