Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Robert Reyvolt (ranked 2710 p4p, 322 weight class) and Topher Curtis (ranked 2978 p4p, 354 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Robert Reyvolt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Topher Curtis!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reyvolt fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Curtis throws a leg kick but Reyvolt moved away.
Reyvolt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Reyvolt closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Reyvolt landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Curtis tries to kick Reyvolt off but Reyvolt keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Reyvolt is working for a submission of some sort.
Reyvolt stops Curtis from getting back to his feet.
Nice strikes from Reyvolt there.
Reyvolt lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Curtis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Reyvolt.
Reyvolt is nestled in close to Curtis, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Reyvolt stops Curtis from getting back to his feet.
Reyvolt wants to take a breather but Curtis is having none of it.
Curtis looks like he's trying to stand up.
Reyvolt is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Curtis makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Reyvolt definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Curtis gets caught flat footed, as Reyvolt shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Curtis manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Curtis tries to work over Reyvolt's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Curtis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Reyvolt will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Curtis lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Reyvolt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Curtis avoids it really well and circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Reyvolt walks into a left hand.
Reyvolt has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Reyvolt there as he acknowledges the shot.
Curtis just misses with a punch to the body.
Reyvolt uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Curtis.
Curtis slaps away a takedown attempt from Reyvolt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Reyvolt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheers as Curtis lands an impressive looking overhand right. Reyvolt doesn't seem phased though.

A looping hook to the body misses from Curtis. Reyvolt does a little dance to reset his feet.
Curtis misses with a straight right.
Reyvolt shoots in for a takedown but Curtis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Reyvolt feinted with a counter takedown.
Curtis connects with a single shot there.
Reyvolt is rocked!
Reyvolt looks up at the clock. Bad move! Curtis lands a right hand from hell, dropping Reyvolt. Curtis pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Topher Curtis!
After winning the bout, Topher Curtis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
