Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Linwood closes the distance and clinches up with Lowery, looking for a takedown. Linwood pushes Lowery against the cage but Lowery circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Lowery slaps away a takedown attempt from Linwood, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Linwood shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Linwood won't allow Lowery to get back to his feet.

Lowery working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Linwood doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Linwood manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lowery has his hands on Linwood's head, controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Linwood throws an elbow that misses. Lowery uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Linwood's guard. Nice move by Lowery!

Lowery wants to control from the top but Linwood keeps moving.

Lowery decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Linwood tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Lowery defends well and Linwood ends up having to push Lowery into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Alex Lowery has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anthony Linwood.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Lowery enables Linwood to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Lowery manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Lowery manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Linwood is looking to take this one to the mat.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lowery holds on and takes a little breather.

Linwood is sitting in close to Lowery's body. Lowery has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Linwood is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Linwood is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lowery.
