Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pupuki Namasuzuki (ranked 7740 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodimus Prime (ranked 5178 p4p, 191 weight class). Namasuzuki comes to the cage accompanied by Stand By Me- Ben King. Pupuki Namasuzuki could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Rodimus Prime's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pupuki Namasuzuki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodimus Prime!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Namasuzuki misses with a combination
and Prime counters with a straight right hand.
Namasuzuki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Prime misses with a takedown attempt - Namasuzuki sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Prime doesn't manage to clinch there - Namasuzuki circles away.

Prime looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Namasuzuki on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Namasuzuki tries to get out of the position.
Prime missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Prime drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Namasuzuki manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Prime has Namasuzuki in his guard.

Prime manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Namasuzuki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pupuki Namasuzuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prime looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Namasuzuki is fending him off so far but Prime persists. Nope, Namasuzuki circles away and we're back to standing.
Namasuzuki stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Namasuzuki wants it to stay on the feet.
Pupuki Namasuzuki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rodimus Prime.

Namasuzuki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Prime wants to counter with a clinch but Namasuzuki pushes him away.

Prime rushes Namasuzuki and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Prime tries to work over Namasuzuki's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Prime trying to stall but Namasuzuki improves his position.

Prime can't get the takedown.
Prime content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Prime with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Prime's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Namasuzuki looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Prime tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Namasuzuki defends well and Prime ends up having to push Namasuzuki into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Namasuzuki misses with a two punch combination.
Namasuzuki misses with a wild combination.
Prime throws a counter combo.
Namasuzuki is breathing heavily.
Prime slips a jab and a cross from Namasuzuki.
Prime is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Prime shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Namasuzuki as he avoids it easily.
Namasuzuki misses with a series of wild punches.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Prime shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Namasuzuki as he jumps to the side.
Namasuzuki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Prime circles away quickly and effectively.
Prime fails with a takedown attempt.
Prime shoots in but no luck this time.
Prime avoids a punch combination nicely.
Prime tries to counter by closing the distance.
Prime dodges the punch combination from Namasuzuki.
Prime looks for a takedown but Namasuzuki sprawls well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Namasuzuki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Prime circles away quickly and effectively.
Prime fails with the takedown.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pupuki Namasuzuki dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Prime steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
No joy there for Namasuzuki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Namasuzuki throws a series of punches but Prime moves out of range.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Namasuzuki trying to land knees to the body.
Namasuzuki misses with an elbow over the top.
Namasuzuki avoiding damage as Prime throws knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stalling in the clinch from Prime.
Prime is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Namasuzuki pulls him back up using the underhooks.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Prime ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Prime no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Namasuzuki would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Prime is looking to cinch up a triangle. Namasuzuki throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Prime's body to avoid the submission. Prime has instead reached around Namasuzuki's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Prime arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:33 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Rodimus Prime!
