Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Manu Mikkonen (ranked 2363 p4p, 266 weight class) and Flavio Guidi (ranked 2583 p4p, 285 weight class). Mikkonen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is When Worlds Collide. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mikkonen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guidi wants to counter with a clinch but Mikkonen pushes him away.
Guidi throws a quick inside leg kick.

Manu Mikkonen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Guidi fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Mikkonen is out of range.

Guidi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Guidi, right into the meat.
Some bone on bone action there as Mikkonen checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Guidi connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Guidi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Good leg kick by Mikkonen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Mikkonen throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Guidi thuds his shin into the meat of Mikkonen's side.
Guidi drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Mikkonen right on the button. Mikkonen goes down! Guidi follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Guidi gets the win via TKO!

Flavio Guidi was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
Manu Mikkonen spoke after the fight, saying 'What the Fuck was that shit!?! I'm coming back and I will destroy all! Get that fucking mic out of my face!'.
