Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Raymond Miller (ranked 3261 p4p, 309 weight class) and Marcus Louis (ranked 7059 p4p, 452 weight class). Raymond Miller could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marcus Louis's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Raymond Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Marcus Louis!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Louis moves into range and clinches up with Miller.
A left hand lands to the body for Miller.
Miller tries to throw a body punch but Louis avoids it by throwing Miller back against the cage.

A head punch on the inside from Miller fails to land.
Louis has Miller pressed against the cage.
Miller lands a body punch in the clinch.
Louis looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Louis fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Miller lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Louis.

Still in the clinch, Miller scores with a nice short uppercut.

Louis gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Louis controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Miller has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Louis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Louis seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Louis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Miller gets tackled into the cage by Louis. Louis maintains the clinch.

Miller is fighting off a takedown attempt but Louis is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Miller to the mat. Miller regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Louis is controlling him.

Miller wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Louis is now in half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Miller avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Louis.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Louis decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Louis takes the fight into the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Miller.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Louis turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Miller tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Louis can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Miller is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marcus Louis will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Miller dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Louis. That did some damage!

Louis gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Miller goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Louis misses with the head strike.
Louis is trying to break free.
Miller lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Louis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Miller pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Louis wants the takedown. Miller is fighting it off but Louis persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Miller's guard against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Louis is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Miller.

Louis postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Miller lands with a left to the head.

Louis has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Miller clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Louis has good solid back control here.
Louis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Louis cracks Miller with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Miller from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Louis has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marcus Louis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Miller strikes from the bottom but Louis uses the opportunity to move to side control.
Miller is trying to buck Louis off.
Louis grinds an elbow into Miller's temple.
Louis throws an elbow but Miller slips to the side and avoids it well.
Miller is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Louis is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Marcus Louis comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Louis winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
