Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Norton (ranked 24941 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cornelius Assman (ranked 5096 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Norton gets caught flat footed, as Assman shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Norton might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Norton trying to keep a closed guard but Assman is proving a slippery customer.
Assman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Assman is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Norton is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Assman tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Norton knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Assman on the ground.

Let's hope that Assman has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Assman wants to stand but Norton has his arm trapped.

Assman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Assman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Assman has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Assman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Norton wants to control but Assman is having none of it.
Norton could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Assman is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Assman extends the arm and Norton is forced to tap!
