Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kareem Dennis (ranked 2248 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Wright (ranked 21541 p4p, 0 weight class). Wright is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Warped Mind. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 18 - 0, fighting out of London, Kareem Dennis !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Alex Wright!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Dennis misses.
Wright tries to counter with a clinch but Dennis shakes him off and moves away.

Dennis feints and as Wright raises his hands in defense, Dennis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dennis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Wright really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dennis . If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wright can't keep his opponent in guard - Dennis advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Dennis is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Wright doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dennis .
Wright tries to roll over but Dennis keeps him under control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dennis wants to pass the guard but Wright is defending well.

Dennis content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Dennis is taking a breather. Wright says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Dennis tries to pass the half guard into mount. Wright knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Dennis is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Dennis seems to be working for a kimura but Wright defends the submission attempt.

Dennis moves nicely into side control.
Wright tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dennis wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dennis passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wright!

Wright defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Dennis .

It looks like Alex Wright has been cut.

Dennis throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Wright has his hands clasped together but Dennis breaks the hold and Wright is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Dennis !

In his post fight interview, Kareem Dennis started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
Alex Wright spoke after the fight, saying 'When I sign a contract, I really want to give 180%. And if I can't give that, it's just not fair to the promotion and it's not fair to the fans and it's not fair to myself'.
