Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alex Parker (ranked 678 p4p, 101 weight class) and Joao Pedro Mauricio DeSilva (ranked 884 p4p, 125 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Joao Pedro Mauricio DeSilva!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeSilva drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Parker is pulling down on DeSilva's head. It's preventing any offense from DeSilva, at least for the moment.

Parker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in DeSilva's guard.

DeSilva is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

DeSilva misses with a takedown attempt - Parker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by DeSilva or perhaps it was just good defense by Parker, which made it look bad.
DeSilva darts in looking for a takedown but Parker gets double underhooks and turns DeSilva into the cage.

Oooooh, big shot lands for DeSilva! Parker is hurt baaadly! DeSilva is firing away with more strikes - Parker is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
