Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toprak shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Souza working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Toprak doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Toprak manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Souza looking for a guillotine here but Toprak defends easily.
Souza throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Toprak can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Toprak wants to stand and escape but instead Souza has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Toprak is adopting a defensive guard.

Toprak wants to sweep here but Souza controlling him for the moment.
Souza tries to stand but Toprak is controlling from the bottom.
Souza is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Toprak controls Souza momentarily but Souza frees himself.
Souza scoring with some ground and pound.
Toprak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Souza on the ground.
Souza postures up and lands a big shot to Toprak's brow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Toprak looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Souza's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Souza cracks Toprak with a solid left hand.
Souza thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Souza lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Toprak is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Souza lands a couple of digs.
Toprak is rocked!
Toprak on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Toprak tries to get out of the position.
Souza is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Oh Toprak is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Souza lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Toprak wants to sweep but no luck.

Souza postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Toprak looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Souza loads up on a big left hand. Toprak felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Souza looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Toprak can't hide his disappointment, as Souza celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gilberto Da Souza!
