The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Paul Tew and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Levine fakes the leg kick and cracks Johnson in the body.

Johnson gets tackled into the cage by Levine. Levine maintains the clinch.
Johnson is trying to pull guard but Levine turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Levine tries to pull guard but Johnson holds him up against the cage and eventually Levine drops back down to his feet.

Johnson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Levine tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Alex Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Levine counters with a shoot takedown. Johnson fights it but they end up in guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Johnson pulls Levine in close to his closed guard and prevents Levine from doing any damage or advancing position.
Johnson wants to stand and escape but Levine is having none of it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Levine goes for a double leg but Johnson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Johnson continues to drive forward.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Levine is defended easily by Johnson.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Johnson decides to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alex Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Levine shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Johnson sprawls well. Johnson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Levine gets slowly back to his feet.

It seemed like Johnson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Levine wants to clinch up but Johnson keeps it at a distance.

Levine throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Johnson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Levine is in Johnson's guard.
Johnson wants to sweep here but Levine controlling him for the moment.
Johnson has momentary wrist control but Levine slips an elbow through the middle.
Levine has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Johnson manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Levine has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Johnson uses from the top position.

Alex Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
