Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Brock Huff (ranked 5122 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ethan Owyong (ranked 5114 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Ben Hemmingworth and Hugh Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huff drives through and clinches with Owyong against the cage.

Owyong breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Owyong.
Owyong lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Owyong.
Owyong lands a jab to Huff's midsection.
Owyong connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Huff tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Owyong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Owyong dives in and grabs Huff's left leg, looking for a takedown. Huff pushes down on Owyong's head and hops out.
Huff fires out a quick counter leg kick but Owyong just manages to avoid it.
The fight stays on the outside here - Huff looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ethan Owyong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Huff tries to clinch up but Owyong circles away and keeps his distance.

Owyong jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Huff is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Huff and Owyong has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Huff tries to clinch but Owyong moves out of range.
Owyong shoots in for a takedown but Huff shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Huff shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Owyong's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Owyong looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Huff puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Huff wants to get up but he can't break Owyong's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
