The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Birchack displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Green throws out the jab.
Birchack looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Birchack uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Green.
Green throws a hook to the side of Birchack's head but Birchack sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Birchack looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Green throws out a powerful jab.
Birchack rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Green moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Birchack fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Green manages to avoid it.
Green throws an overhand right that lands on Birchack's shoulder, as Birchack tries to avoid the shot.
Green throws a hook but Birchack blocks it.
Birchack throws a body shot but no joy.
Green waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Birchack.
Birchack swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Green throws a shot from downtown. Birchack moves away and avoids it.
Birchack throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Green swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Birchack drops his guard momentarily, allowing Green to crack him with a picture perfect lead left hook! Boom! Down goes Birchack! Oh, he's in big trouble - I don't like his chances here as the referee's count reaches 5. 6,7,8,9...10! He's out! Green takes it!
