The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choi throws a good cross that connects.
Choi avoids the head kick by Onyedikachi.
Jab by Choi.
Choi lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Choi's jab looks to have found its range, popping Onyedikachi under the eye.
Choi connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Onyedikachi's hands.
Onyedikachi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Choi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Onyedikachi takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Choi scores with a jab to the jaw.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Choi gets in close and tags Onyedikachi with a short punch that almost sends Onyedikachi to the mat! Oh Onyedikachi is in big trouble! He turns his back on Choi, trying to create some distance but Choi rushes him, striking wildly and Onyedikachi goes down! The referee tackles Choi into the cage to end the fight! Choi is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). DooHo Choi!
A relieved looking DooHo Choi thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
