PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean Labosky (ranked 2970 p4p, 290 weight class) and Kern Dignity (ranked 6884 p4p, 444 weight class). Dignity has chosen Party & Bullshit as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Labosky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A shot to the body from Labosky misses

and Dignity counters with a nice double leg into side control. Labosky won't be happy with that.
Labosky tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Dignity wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Dignity lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Labosky down.

Dignity is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Labosky has escaped the position, nice work there.

Dignity takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Labosky is holding on to half guard well.
Dignity is just content to waste time from the top position. Labosky takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Dignity wants to control from the top but Labosky keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Dignity throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Labosky's waist but Labosky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dignity off to one side.
Labosky throws a combination. Dignity tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Labosky seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Dignity has Labosky pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Dignity pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Labosky tumbling to the mat - Dignity dives into Labosky's guard.
