The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimmson fails to land with a series of punches.
Grimmson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Grimmson sizes up Jones with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jones avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grimmson scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Grimmson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Grimmson lands with a straight right. Jones didn't see that one coming.
A decent looking cross lands there for Grimmson.

Grimmson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Jones moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Jones goes for a double leg but Grimmson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Grimmson continues to drive forward.
Olafur Grimmson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Jones.

Grimmson tries to bum rush Jones with a series of wild strikes but Jones uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
