Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dexter Krampus (ranked 3393 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyga Laxx (ranked 6404 p4p, 573 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krampus looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Krampus throws a looping overhand right but Laxx ducks down to avoid it.
Laxx lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krampus backs up against the cage.

It looks like Dexter Krampus has been cut.
Krampus lands with a nice body kick.
Laxx ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Laxx avoids the head kick by Krampus.
Laxx moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Krampus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Krampus has Laxx up against the cage in a clinch.
Krampus cracks Laxx with a nice body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Krampus can't find room to land a body shot as Laxx controls the action.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Krampus creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Laxx blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Krampus swings wildly with an uppercut but Laxx uses good head movement to avoid it.
Krampus doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Laxx breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Laxx gets a takedown into half guard.
Krampus regains full guard. Nicely done.
Krampus tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Krampus has his foot on Laxx 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Laxx works his way back into a safe position though.
Laxx throws an elbow that misses. Krampus uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Laxx 's guard. Nice move by Krampus!

Laxx has control of Krampus's left arm, preventing Krampus from doing any damage.
Krampus advances to half guard.
Krampus seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Laxx does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Krampus thows a huge punch but Laxx dodges it nicely.
Laxx tries to roll over but Krampus keeps him under control.
Krampus tries to pass to full mount but Laxx defends it.

Laxx is trying to maintain the position but Krampus is very close to passing his half guard.

Krampus wants to free his trapped foot but Laxx is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Laxx manages to get to full guard.
Laxx is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Laxx keeping moving, preventing Krampus from controlling successfully.
Krampus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Laxx 's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Laxx is looking to control Krampus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Laxx avoid being mounted?
Krampus moves into full mount! Laxx won't be happy about that!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Krampus lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Krampus lands a left and a right that send Laxx crashing to the mat, dazed. Krampus thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Tyga Laxx has been cut.
Krampus throws a series of punches but Laxx avoids them all with ease.
Krampus backing away here, and Laxx unleashes a leg kick that just misses.
Laxx fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Krampus sends Laxx crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Krampus is motioning to the referee to let Laxx up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Laxx is rocked!

Tyga Laxx seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Laxx takes the fight into the clinch.
Krampus lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Laxx .
Laxx seems to have recovered his senses.
Laxx 's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Krampus doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Krampus stops a takedown attempt from Laxx .
Krampus lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Krampus misses with a short punch on the inside.
Laxx is trying to pull guard but Krampus turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

Laxx breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Laxx lands a nice leg kick that just misses Krampus's sensitive parts.
Krampus cracks Laxx with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Laxx drops his hands momentarily. Krampus doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Laxx staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Laxx doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Dexter Krampus!
