Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Omer Cantrell (ranked 6683 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Janos (ranked 3407 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Janos gets caught flat footed, as Cantrell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Janos pushes Cantrell off and scrambles back to his feet.

Janos has managed to clinch.

Janos successfully pulls guard.
Cantrell with a flurry of punches that miss.
Cantrell has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Janos preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Cantrell postures up in Janos's guard and throws a big left but Janos blocks it.

Janos bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Cantrell's guard.

Janos slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Janos tries to free his leg and advance position but Cantrell is retaining full guard.
Janos throwing strikes from guard but Cantrell blocks nicely.
Cantrell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Janos on the ground.

Janos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Cantrell's head.

Cantrell is rocked!
Cantrell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Janos pushes down on Cantrell's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Cantrell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cantrell has hold of Janos's hands but Janos slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Janos lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Cantrell quite badly. Cantrell pulls Janos in close trying to recover. Janos postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Cantrell on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Cantrell doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
