The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kempt pushes Saito up against the ropes in a clinch.

Kempt fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Saito on the side of the head.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Kempt, right into the meat.

A decent looking cross lands there for Kempt.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Saito lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kempt has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kempt and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Saito takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Saito tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kempt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
A combination from Saito does no damage.
Saito tries to clinch but Kempt is having none of it.
Kempt wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Saito takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

and Kempt counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Saito slips a jab and a cross from Kempt.
Saito tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Kempt manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

As Saito tries to get set, Kempt tries to push him back and clinch up but Saito manages to avoid the attempt.

Toshizo Saito has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
