The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Bornholm slips under a jab from Knight.
Bornholm takes one to the side of the head.
Bornholm fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Knight has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Daniel Bornholm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bornholm connects with an inside leg kick.
Bornholm works the jab nicely.
Bornholm is looking to chop away at Knight's legs.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Knight goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bornholm rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Knight's guard! Nice work there by Bornholm!

Good leg kick by Bornholm there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Knight tries to close the distance and clinch but Bornholm swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Knight checks a leg kick.

Bornholm lunges at Knight with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Knight's hand.
Knight is the more experienced fighter here and he's going to need to draw on some of that experience if he's going to pull this one out the bag.
Bornholm throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bornholm scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Knight on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Bornholm moves forwards but Knight connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kenny Knight has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Knight uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bornholm.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Knight! But no joy.

Bornholm throws a wild body kick that Knight sees coming a mile off.
Knight just misses with a punch to the body.
Knight shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Bornholm pinned against the ropes. Bornholm gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
