Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Khamid Osman Durnagoz!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durnagoz shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mitchell pinned against the cage. Mitchell gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Durnagoz just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMitchell.
Mitchell moves forwards but Durnagoz connects with a nice, crisp jab.
No luck for Mitchell with that takedown attempt.
Mitchell throws a low kick, looking for Durnagoz's leg but Durnagoz calmly moves out of range.
Durnagoz cracks a nice hook into Mitchell's ribs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Durnagoz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mitchell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Durnagoz has managed to clinch.
Mitchell jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Durnagoz walks away with a smile on his face. Mitchell gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Durnagoz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Durnagoz throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mitchell's waist but Mitchell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Durnagoz off to one side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Mitchell.

Mitchell shoots in and bounces Durnagoz off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
