Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ronaldo Souza (ranked 24347 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marty Kamaru (ranked 4194 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a sloppy head kick

and Kamaru counters with a nice double leg into side control. Souza won't be happy with that.
Kamaru scores with a couple of short elbows.
Kamaru lands a nice forearm strike.
Souza tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kamaru is chipping away with strikes.
Kamaru connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Souza some visible discomfort.
Souza takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Souza is trying to control Kamaru's posture but Kamaru avoids it.
Kamaru in side control lands a decent elbow.
Souza on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kamaru lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Souza! Kamaru senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Souza out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!

A less than humble Marty Kamaru misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
