The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ritter throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Teebs to counter with a crisp jab.
Ritter swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Teebs dodges the punch combination from Ritter.
Teebs drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ritter sprawls and moves away.
Teebs misses with a wild combination.
Teebs fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Ritter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ritter wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ritter misses with a shot to the body
and Teebs connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ritter rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Teebs counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Teebs.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Teebs stands and steps away. Ritter gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Ritter swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Teebs counters with a crisp right that sends Ritter to the canvas! Teebs follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!

During a confident post fight interview, Bo Teebs thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
In defeat, Sylvester Ritter stepped up to the mic, saying 'To all the young kids out there... Its not the failures that define who you are but how hard you bite back once you get up.'.
