The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Westermann lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Westermann throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Rayburn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Westermann throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Westermann stuffs the takedown attempt from Rayburn. Rayburn gets slowly back to his feet.
Westermann drops Rayburn with a beautiful combination! Rayburn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Westermann is looking for the KO!
Rayburn is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Westermann shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Rayburn is on queer street and Westermann is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
