The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maartins throws out a head kick that McWrestle doesn't see coming - it connects and sends McWrestle crashing to the mat face first! He's bounced up to his knees and is scrambling to get back to his feet and beat the count. He's up on 5 but still looks a bit groggy; will the referee allow it to continue??? He's taking a good look into McWrestle's eyes and has decided to let it go on!
It looks like Wrestle McWrestle has been cut.
Maartins cracks the inside of McWrestle's front leg.
Maartins misses with a kick to the body
and McWrestle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Maartins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Maartins creates a bit of distance and cracks McWrestle with a big uppercut! McWrestle goes down! The referee pushes Maartins away into a neutral corner and starts the count. 4,5,6,7. Will McWrestle make it up in time? He's still flopping around all over the place! The referee has called off the fight! Maartins takes it!
