Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Sokolov (ranked 1399 p4p, 173 weight class) and Miro Bang (ranked 1974 p4p, 215 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jonathan Paton and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bang shoots for a double leg takedown but Sokolov sprawls well. He's pushed Bang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Sokolov clobbers Bang with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sokolov scores with a hook to the body. Bang takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Bang avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bang will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sokolov scores with the left hand. Bang knows he should have avoided that one.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Bang.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sokolov has one of Bang's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Sokolov is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bang has an Americana. Sokolov didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bang is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bang hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
