Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hiroki Matsuoka (ranked 1606 p4p, 179 weight class) and Patrick Seery (ranked 211 p4p, 28 weight class). Matsuoka's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Tom Petty - Won’t back down. Seery has chosen An Irish Pub Song as his entrance music. The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seery swings away with a body shot that misses
and Matsuoka cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Matsuoka throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Seery sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Matsuoka tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Seery manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A slow jab from Seery misses its intended target.
Donk. Seery catches Matsuoka right on the button with a cross.
Seery throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Seery moves into range and clinches up with Matsuoka.
Seery misses with a body punch.
Seery lands an uppercut.
Seery throws a punch but it's blocked by Matsuoka.
Matsuoka lands a nice shot to the body.

Matsuoka pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Seery scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Matsuoka shoots in and bounces Seery off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Matsuoka tries to free his leg and advance position but Seery is retaining full guard.
