Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Deleanu rushes Mott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Deleanu is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Mott is defending well.

Deleanu jumps guard.
Mott is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Deleanu is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

John Mott dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Mott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Mott crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Deleanu - the referee stops the clock and Mott gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Deleanu. Mott manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Mott lands a nice hook to Deleanu's body. Deleanu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Deleanu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mott sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Deleanu somewhat.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Deleanu gets caught napping as Mott dives in and scores a takedown. Deleanu manages to retain guard.

Deleanu's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Mott is holding on here and Deleanu must be using up a lot of energy. Mott has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Deleanu gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
