Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Daker (ranked 5046 p4p, 0 weight class) and Truck Boogard (ranked 4517 p4p, 0 weight class). Truck Boogard will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, John Daker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Truck Boogard!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boogard explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Boogard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boogard throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Daker.

It looks like John Daker has been cut.
Daker takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boogard showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Daker.
As Daker backs off Boogard throws a huge counter combo but Daker manages to avoid it all.

Daker clinches.
Daker misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boogard lands a right hand.
Daker tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Boogard's elbow.
Daker fails to pull guard.
Boogard working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Boogard avoiding damage.

Boogard pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daker tries to clinch but Boogard is having none of it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Daker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Boogard moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Boogard lands a leg kick that knocks Daker off balance momentarily.
Boogard throws a nice head kick!
Daker misses with a wild combination.
Daker swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Boogard counters with a leg kick.

Daker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nice elbow from Boogard.
Boogard softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

Boogard breaks from the clinch.
Daker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boogard manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
A nice side step and Boogard releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Some wild striking there from Daker.
Both fighters circling a little - Boogard finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Daker throws a combination that misses
and Boogard counters with a left and a right that stings Daker.
Boogard rushes Daker and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Daker is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Boogard piles on the pressure and Daker crumples to the floor! This one is all over!
