Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Blue Cup (ranked 2415 p4p, 291 weight class) and Nikolai Kuznetsov (ranked 1477 p4p, 194 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Ryoma Takatsuka and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuznetsov fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Cup checks it well.
Cup lands with a hook. Kuznetsov tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Kuznetsov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cup throws a lazy uppercut
and Kuznetsov counters with a good low kick that Cup was not able to check.
Cup uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kuznetsov.
Cup lands a big shot that drops Kuznetsov! Can he finish him?
Kuznetsov is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Cup won't allow Kuznetsov to get back to his feet.
Kuznetsov is still in real trouble! Can Cup finish him?

Kuznetsov seems to have recovered his senses.
Cup drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Kuznetsov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Cup has Kuznetsov in his guard.
Kuznetsov decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Cup, up you get!

Cup lands with a shot to the body.

Nikolai Kuznetsov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Cup throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Kuznetsov to counter with a crisp jab.
It looks like Blue Cup has been cut.
Good shot there by Kuznetsov.
Cup fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kuznetsov is out of range.
It seemed like Kuznetsov was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Cup looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Cup throws a big shot that misses.
Cup throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kuznetsov sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cup scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kuznetsov throws a hook to the side of Cup's head but Cup sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kuznetsov circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Cup drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Kuznetsov follows Cup to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!

Nikolai Kuznetsov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
The defeated Blue Cup had this to say: 'That wasn't fun.'.
