The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Clark moves into the clinch successfully.
Clark gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dillon.

Dillon gets tackled into the cage by Clark. Clark maintains the clinch.
Dillon fails to pull guard.
Clark changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dillon fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dillon misses with a double jab
and Clark counters with a three punch combo that has Dillon backing up. Dillon nods at Clark to acknowledge the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Clark closes the distance and pushes Dillon back into the cage.
Clark tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Dillon avoids it.

Clark has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Dillon clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dillon holds on to Clark around his waist, trying desperately to prevent any attacks.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Dillon manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Dillon is concentrating on defense, preventing Clark from advancing position.
It looks like Clark is going to stand back up.

Clark is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Dillon still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Dillon has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Dillon is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Clark is surviving well by controlling Dillon's body position as best he can.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dillon cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Dillon landing strikes from the mount and Clark is in trouble!

Clark tries to improve his position but instead Dillon has taken his back!
Clark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dillon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
