Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ellsworth Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Steve Montenegro and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Campos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Campos fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Johnson avoids it really well and circles away.
Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Campos has a takedown stuffed.

Campos gets tackled into the cage by Johnson. Johnson maintains the clinch.

Campos gets control of Johnson's arms and successfully pulls guard. Campos will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Campos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Johnson manages to get himself to full guard.


Campos decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Campos drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Johnson is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Campos dives into side control.


Campos stands up and beckons Johnson to his feet.

Johnson tries to keep at a distance but Campos has taken the fight into the clinch.

Campos can't find room to land a body shot as Johnson controls the action.

Campos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Campos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Johnson defends it nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


Campos shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Campos's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Campos keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Johnson's efforts to push away.

Johnson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Johnson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Johnson is pressed up against the cage. Campos has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Johnson down to the mat. Johnson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Johnson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Santos Campos is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Santos Campos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Campos went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Johnson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Campos tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Johnson manages to circle out of the way.
Campos moves out of range as Johnson strikes.

Campos shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Johnson counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Ellsworth Johnson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

And that's the end of the fight!
Ellsworth Johnson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Johnson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
