Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malloy takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Some bone on bone action there as Russo checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Russo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Malloy stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Malloy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Russo's waist but Russo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malloy off to one side.

Malloy shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Russo sprawls well. Russo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Malloy gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Malloy takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Malloy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Malloy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Russo's waist but Russo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malloy off to one side.
Michael Malloy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Russo tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Malloy manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Noah Russo seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Malloy ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Malloy no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Malloy is looking to cinch up a triangle. Russo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Malloy's body to avoid the submission. Malloy has instead reached around Russo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Malloy arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Michael Malloy!
A relieved looking Michael Malloy thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
