These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Mickelson drops back looking for a leg! Gracie is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gracie manages to kick Mickelson off! Mickelson jumps back into Gracie's guard.

Gracie has his foot on Mickelson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mickelson works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mickelson wanted to stand there but Gracie had control of the position.

Mickelson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Gracie is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Mickelson sees it coming and defends easily.

Gracie in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Mickelson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Gracie!
