Big Thing throws a series of punches but Master Fox moves out of range.

Big Thing rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Master Fox moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Master Fox takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Master Fox is trying hard to land a takedown here. Big Thing sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

The Next Big Thing seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Master Fox moves into the clinch.

Big Thing pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Big Thing throws a nice looking combination but Master Fox bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A combination from Big Thing does no damage.
Big Thing swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Master Fox counters with a nice low kick that buckles Big Thing's knee momentarily.
No joy there for Big Thing, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The Next Big Thing dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Big Thing throws a right and a left that Master Fox avoids nicely.
Big Thing has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Master Fox uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Big Thing.

Master Fox fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Big Thing.

Big Thing throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Master Fox.

Master Fox gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Master Fox has hold of Big Thing's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Big Thing tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Master Fox cranks the arm and Big Thing screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Big Thing, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
