Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Lannes (ranked 6221 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brady Burns (ranked 7605 p4p, 533 weight class). Burns comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Pápai Joci - Origo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jean Lannes could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Brady Burns's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Burns looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Lannes moves forwards but Burns connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Lannes definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Burns, as that shot connected.

Burns takes a swing at Lannes's ribcage but misses.

Lannes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Burns sprawls well initially but Lannes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Burns manages to escape and get back to his feet!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Burns fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lannes.
Lannes looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Burns fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lannes looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Lannes gets control of Burns's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lannes will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Well Burns has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
