Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Boone (ranked 663 p4p, 91 weight class) and Max Chaos (ranked 920 p4p, 124 weight class). Boone comes into the arena with Violeta blaring out of the sound system. Chaos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cannibal Corpse - Hammer Smashed Face kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Max Chaos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jackson Boone's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaos fails with the takedown
and Chaos takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chaos dives in and grabs Boone's left leg, looking for a takedown. Boone pushes down on Chaos's head and hops out.
Boone throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chaos sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chaos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Boone sprawls well. Boone wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Chaos gets slowly back to his feet.
Jackson Boone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Chaos.
Chaos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boone defends it nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Boone on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Boone definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Chaos closes the distance and clinches up with Boone, looking for a takedown. Chaos pushes Boone against the ropes but Boone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Chaos throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Boone tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chaos is in Boone's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Boone tries to roll over but Chaos keeps him under control.

Chaos is just content to waste time from the top position. Boone takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Boone had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Chaos defends it easily.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Boone is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Chaos has a takedown stuffed.
Boone scores with a jab to the head.
Chaos throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Boone's waist but Boone gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chaos off to one side.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The fighters circle momentarily. Boone darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Boone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Boone wants it to stay on the feet.
Boone is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Chaos shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Boone pinned against the ropes. Boone gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Boone bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chaos's head backwards.

Boone lands a big right hand that sends Chaos crashing to the mat! Boone stays standing though and waves Chaos back to his feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chaos gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Boone points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Chaos wakes up just in time to hear Boone thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
