Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ten misses with a kick to the body.
Fei connects with a high kick.
Ten shoots in looking for a takedown but Fei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ten's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fei lands a nice leg kick that just misses Ten's sensitive parts.
Ten misses with an attempted mid kick.
Fei throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Ten fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Fei keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Yeu Fei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Android Ten.

Ten goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fei has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ten but great work by Fei.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ten is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fei's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fei's back!
Fei tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Ten has hold of Fei's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fei manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ten lands a nice short elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fei gets back to full guard.
Ten is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Ten drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fei looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fei looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fei!

Fei is looking to take a break and control but Ten is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Ten is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fei off and has taken his back!

Ten is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Fei knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Fei for a finish.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Ten. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
Fei manages to reverse the position and now he's in Ten's guard. Nice work there by Fei.

Fei slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
You can see the frustration on Ten's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

A lull in the action here.
Fei wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ten keeps working.
Fei is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Ten is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Ten is looking to regain half guard here but Fei keeps moving and retains side control.

Fei has hold of Ten's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ten tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fei cranks the arm and Ten screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ten, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Yeu Fei!
A relieved looking Yeu Fei thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
