Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Regis Petrozuli (ranked 3394 p4p, 154 weight class) and Johannes Boe (ranked 2713 p4p, 124 weight class). Boe has chosen Agnes - Release Me as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boe throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Boe has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Petrozuli is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Regis Petrozuli seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petrozuli avoids the head kick by Boe.
Boe throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Petrozuli throws a shot from downtown. Boe moves away and avoids it.
Petrozuli is trying hard to land a takedown here. Boe sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Petrozuli has been working on his balance at Listerman's Club, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Boe.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Boe counters with a nice right hand that sends Petrozuli toppling to the canvas! Petrozuli scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Boe finish him?!
Boe circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Petrozuli to the canvas! Petrozuli doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Boe keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
