Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Takanori Sakurai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Bennett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sakurai comes to the cage accompanied by number girl syndrome. Bennett has chosen Stronger, Kanye West as his entrance music. Mike Bennett is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Bennett!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sakurai avoids the head kick by Bennett.
Bennett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bennett pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sakurai throws a chopping leg kick but Bennett manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Bennett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bennett misses with a head kick.
Sakurai fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Bennett doesn't manage to clinch there - Sakurai circles away.
Bennett staying out of range there.
Bennett throws a head kick that misses.
Sakurai blocks a head kick by Bennett.
Bennett tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bennett fails with an attempt to clinch.
No joy there for Bennett, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sakurai drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bennett looks gassed!
Bennett tries to buck Sakurai off but Sakurai is having none of it.
Sakurai has an Americana. Bennett didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sakurai is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sakurai hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
