Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Ferri (ranked 2998 p4p, 355 weight class) and Erlend Jahr (ranked 2758 p4p, 329 weight class). Daniel Ferri is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jahr fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ferri moves in looking to clinch but Jahr pushes him off.

Ferri forces Jahr back against the cage and clinches.
Jahr misses with a hook from the clinch.

Ferri pulls Jahr into guard.
Ferri pulls Jahr in close to his closed guard and prevents Jahr from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jahr throws a big right hand that misses.
Jahr postures up in Ferri's guard and throws a big left but Ferri blocks it.

Jahr tries to free his leg and advance position but Ferri is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Jahr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jahr has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Buoy Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jahr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Ferri keeps working.
Jahr perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Jahr makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Ferri had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jahr defends it easily.
Ferri wants to sweep but no luck.

Ferri will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Jahr pushes a forearm under Ferri's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ferri is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

After the fight, Erlend Jahr was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
