Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tong Po (ranked 89 p4p, 15 weight class) and Mon Ster (ranked 199 p4p, 27 weight class). Ster is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Automatic - Monster. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tong Po!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mon Ster!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Po manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Po doesn't manage to clinch there - Ster circles away.
As Po backs off Ster throws a huge counter combo but Po manages to avoid it all.
Po lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Ster rushes Po and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Ster controlling the action here for a moment.
Po misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ster blocks a body shot from Po.
Ster creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Po's defenses.


It looks like Tong Po has been cut.
Ster lands a nice elbow.
A head punch on the inside from Po fails to land.
Po goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ster missing with knees to the body.
Ster pushes off an throws an elbow but Po leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Ster trying to control the position but instead, Po has worked for underhooks and has pushed Ster into the cage.
Ster lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A head punch on the inside from Po fails to land.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Po tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ster's elbow.
Po is working Ster over against the cage.
Ster pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Ster throws an elbow that misses.
Ster swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Po doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ster taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Ster creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Still in the clinch, Ster scores with a nice short uppercut.
Po tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Po misses with some punches.

Ster swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ster throws an elbow but it's blocked.
A short body shot lands from Po as the two fighters clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Ster throws an elbow but misses.

Po is looking to control Ster's arms but Ster gets an underhook and turns him. Now Po has his back to the cage.
Come on Po - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Po blocks an uppercut.
Po tries to work over Ster's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Ster is trying to maintain a safe position but Po gets an underhook and turns Ster into the cage.
Po has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Ster blocks an uppercut.
Ster is trying to break the clinch but Po is controlling him.
Nice body punch from Po.
Ster's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Ster stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ster controlling the action here for a moment.
Ster throws a punch but it's blocked by Po.

Po's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ster throws a looping overhand right but Po ducks down to avoid it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Ster moves into range and clinches up with Po.
A nice right hand lands inside from Po.
Ster prevents a body shot from Po.
Ster misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Po.

Po misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Ster is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Po is keeping busy.
Po misses with a body punch.

Po breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ster tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Po paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Ster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Po was well out of range. Poor timing from Ster.

Ster gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Po blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Ster tries to stall but Po uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Po lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Po stalling in the clinch but Ster improves position.
Still in the clinch, Po scores with a nice short uppercut.

Ster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Po checks a leg kick.
Po is looking to counter punch.
Po moves out of range as Ster throws a body kick.

Ster has Po up against the cage in a clinch.
Ster is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Po.
Ster throws a punch but it's blocked by Po.
Po lands a shot to the body.
Ster looks winded!
Ster is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Po pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Po darts in and clinches Ster up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Po misses with some punches.
Still in the clinch, Po scores with a nice short uppercut.
Ster looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Po avoiding damage as Ster throws knees to the body.
A shot in the inside from Po.
Po throws a punch but it's blocked by Ster.
Po fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ster taking a breather.
Po is leaning against Ster and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Ster throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Po scores with a shot to the side of Ster's head.


It looks like Mon Ster has been cut.
Po tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tong Po will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

The fight stays on the outside here - Ster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ster slips under a jab.
Po connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Ster momentarily.
Po scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Po fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nice body punch from Po.
Ster takes one to the side of the head.
Ster gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Po.


That has opened up Mon Ster's cut even more.
Ster is breathing heavily.
That kick from Po tenderised Ster's leg. Ster is trying to keep his angry face on.

Po scores with a jab to the jaw.
Po circles away from the clinch attempt
and Po counters with a huge right that knocks Ster out cold! Po is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tong Po!
A very excited looking Tong Po made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
