Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marshall Teach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Davey Jones!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones keeps the fight on the outside.
Teach tries to clinch up.
Teach wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Teach tries to clinch but Jones moves out of range.

Jones fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Teach, pushing him back against the cage.
Teach is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Jones gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
I was talking to Teach's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Jones scores with a hook to the body.
Jones gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Teach.
Teach tries for a takedown but Jones manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marshall Teach. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Teach has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Jones avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Teach wants to take the fight to the mat but Jones manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Teach changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Jones fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jones listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones clinches.
Teach tries to pull guard but Jones forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Jones digs a right hand into Teach's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Teach's gas tank.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
A clash of legs there as Teach blocks the low kick.
Davey Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Teach moves to clinch but Jones breaks away
and Jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Teach has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Teach there as he acknowledges the shot.
Teach wants to clinch
and Jones counters with a huge left! Teach is in big trouble! He's backing up but Jones isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Teach from any more damage. A dominating finish by Jones!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Davey Jones!
Marshall Teach was interviewed post fight and said 'Rematch!!! everyone knows Teach is king you just got lucky'.
