Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jhin Markell (ranked 788 p4p, 111 weight class) and Yokuni Togashi (ranked 794 p4p, 113 weight class). Togashi has chosen Imagine Dragons - Radioactive as his entrance music. Jhin Markell is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Markell looks to score with a jab to the body but Togashi is just out of range.
A swing and a miss from Togashi.
Markell half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Markell throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Markell lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Togashi.
Markell drops down looking for a counter takedown but Togashi sprawls and moves away.
Markell takes a swing at Togashi's ribcage but misses.
Togashi let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Markell shoots in looking for a takedown but Togashi manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Markell's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Togashi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Markell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Markell tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Markell has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Jhin Markell overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Markell swings around for an armbar but Togashi sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Markell's guard.

Togashi has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Markell to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Togashi is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Markell pulls down on the head and he's put Togashi to sleep! This one is all over!

An out of breath Jhin Markell thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
In defeat, Yokuni Togashi stepped up to the mic, saying 'The greatest test of courage on earth is to bear defeat without losing heart.'.
