Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cristopher Carpenter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Totoy Inday!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Inday's head.
Carpenter throws a poor cross that misses
and Inday counters with a right hand to the body.
Carpenter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Carpenter throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Inday blocks a head kick by Carpenter.
Carpenter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Carpenter shoots in but no luck this time.
Inday is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Carpenter with a body shot.
Inday tries to clinch up but Carpenter circles away and keeps his distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Inday clinches up against the cage.
Inday lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Carpenter.

Carpenter looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Inday misses with a hook to the ribs.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Carpenter pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Carpenter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Inday now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Inday is looking to clinch but Carpenter is avoiding it.

Carpenter moves into range and clinches up with Inday.
The referee is keeping an eye on Inday - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Carpenter blocks a body shot from Inday.
Carpenter tries to break free but Inday pushes him back against the cage.
Inday tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Carpenter has picked Inday up - he's going for a ride! Carpenter dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Inday kicks Carpenter off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Carpenter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Inday comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

It seemed like Inday was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Inday drives through and clinches with Carpenter against the cage.
Carpenter tries to pull guard but Inday holds him up against the cage and eventually Carpenter drops back down to his feet.

A frustrated look appears on Carpenter's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Inday tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Carpenter's elbow.

Inday throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Carpenter escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Inday counters with a lovely shot to the body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Carpenter misses with an uppercut
and Inday counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Cristopher Carpenter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Inday clinches.

Inday manages to break the clinch.
Carpenter looks to throw the jab but Inday is out of range.
Cristopher Carpenter is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Carpenter tries to clinch but Inday moves away
and Inday counters with a right hand to the body.
Inday avoids the head kick by Carpenter.
Carpenter tries a head kick but it misses.
Inday doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Carpenter flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Carpenter pushes Inday off looking to stand but Inday dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Carpenter wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Inday stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Inday fails in his attempt to clinch.
Carpenter wants to clinch but Inday slips to the side
and Inday counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Inday has closed the distance and engaged Carpenter in a clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Inday can't find room to land a body shot as Carpenter controls the action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Totoy Inday showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Carpenter has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Totoy Inday seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.
Inday drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Carpenter wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Inday has him pressed against the cage.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Inday will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Carpenter up against the cage.

Carpenter throws a head kick that misses
and Inday counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Carpenter thinking.

Carpenter gets tackled into the cage by Inday. Inday maintains the clinch.
Totoy Inday is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Inday tries to work over Carpenter's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Carpenter wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Totoy Inday comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Inday winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
