The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mitsumune tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Mitsumune moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

It looks like Elton Cameron has been cut.
Mitsumune throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Cameron counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cameron.
Mitsumune tries to break the clinch but Cameron is controlling the position.
Mitsumune tries to circle away but Cameron has him pinned against the cage.
Cameron keeps control of Mitsumune as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Mitsumune wants to get back to striking at distance but Cameron won't allow it.

Mitsumune is trying to push Cameron away but Cameron has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Cameron drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
A frustrated look appears on Mitsumune's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Cameron is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mitsumune pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Mitsumune pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Cameron goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Mitsumune throws a left and a right that both miss

and Cameron counters with a shoot takedown. Mitsumune fights it but they end up in guard.
Mitsumune wants to stand but Cameron is controlling the position.
Cameron makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Cameron stops Mitsumune from standing up.
Cameron scoring with punches to the head and body.
Cameron has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Cameron seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Mitsumune is working an open guard so Cameron takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Mitsumune moves out of range as Cameron throws a body kick.
Mitsumune lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Cameron backs up against the cage.
Mitsumune checks the leg kick.
Mitsumune throws a sloppy head kick and Cameron moves out of range easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

As Mitsumune tries to get set, Cameron tries to push him back and clinch up but Mitsumune manages to avoid the attempt.
Mitsumune throws a head kick that half lands.

Cameron is rocked!

Cameron get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Cameron stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Mitsumune runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
